The horizontal and vertical dashed lines running through the center of the page on Cute Things to Draw are helpful to beginner artists. By drawing their own center lines on blank paper before starting, learning artists have a guide to follow as they draw.
Getting the right size and placement of lines on the page provides visual reference points that help improve accuracy. To create these guides on their own page, students can simply fold their paper in half both vertically and horizontally, slightly creasing it, then unfold. Once the drawing is finished and colored, the creases will not be noticeable.

Let’s start drawing cute Easter baskets!
Drawing a cute Easter basket is fun and easy!
First, start by drawing a big “U” shape in the middle of your paper. This will be the bottom of your basket where all the Easter goodies will go. Then, draw a curved line across the top of the “U” to close it up. Now your basket has a rim and is ready to be filled!
Next, draw the basket’s handle. Start on one side of the basket and draw a big rainbow shape all the way to the other side. If you want, you can draw two lines close together to make it look more like a real handle. You can also draw a bow in the middle of the handle to make it even cuter!
Now it’s time to decorate your basket. You can draw lines up and down, and across the basket to make it look like it’s woven. This makes your basket look more real and fun! If you like, you can add hearts, stars, or even little flowers on the outside to make it super fancy.
Let’s fill up your basket! Inside the top part of the basket, draw some Easter eggs. They look like ovals, and you can decorate each egg with zigzags, dots, stripes, or smiley faces. You can also draw a little bunny peeking out, some candy, or pretty spring flowers. Make it as fun and colorful as you want!
When you’re done drawing everything, it’s time to color! Use your favorite bright colors to fill in the eggs, the basket, and all the decorations. Don’t forget to color the bow and handle too!
Now you have your very own adorable Easter basket drawing! You can hang it up, show it to your family, or draw more to share with friends.
Great job and happy Easter! 🌸🐰🥚
