Let’s start drawing angels!
Drawing angels can be a fun and peaceful art project for kids and adults alike.
To start, draw a circle near the top of your paper for the angel’s head. Then, sketch a long oval or robe shape below the head for the body. You can add small curved lines for arms resting in front or lifted as if the angel is flying or singing.
Next, draw the wings.
Start from the middle sides of the body and draw large, curved shapes that reach outward or upward. You can make the wings look feathery by drawing soft, curved lines inside to show feathers. Some people like to make the wings big and detailed, while others prefer simple curved shapes — both look great!
Now, add the angel’s face and hair.
Draw gentle eyes, a small nose, and a peaceful smile. For the hair, you can draw short curls, long flowing strands, or even a bun or halo. If you want, draw a circle above the head for a glowing halo and add stars or clouds around the angel to give it a magical look.
Finally, color your angel using soft, light colors like white, yellow, light blue, and pink. You can even add gold or glitter to the wings or halo to make them sparkle.
Once finished, your angel drawing will look kind, calming, and perfect for holiday cards, decorations, or just for fun!
