Meet the creator of Cute Things to Draw
Welcome to Cute Things to Draw, your go-to blog for all things adorable and artistic!
Whether you’re a budding artist, a seasoned doodler, or someone who loves all things cute, you’ve found the perfect place to nurture your creativity and have fun.
Cute Things to Draw was born from a passion for art and a love for all things cute. Dr. Schmidt started this blog to share her enthusiasm for drawing and to create a welcoming space for artists of all ages and skill levels.
What began as a personal project quickly grew into a vibrant community where people worldwide come together to learn, create, and celebrate the joy of drawing.
A little history about the author and creator . . .
Being the best mom and wife possible was always the top priority for Dr. Schmidt, even when her professional goals were high on the priority list.
She is the mom of two grown boys and two grandkids (a 4-year-old granddaughter and a 6-year-old grandson), and she has been married for 33 years. She loves sharing all the drawing ideas she creates with her littles and even loves the relaxation it provides by drawing herself! (If you love to color, she loves that too, and you can hop over to ColoringPagesHQ.com for free coloring pages!)
Dr. Tawna Schmidt’s early career in education started as a high school social studies and language arts teacher. Upon earning her master’s degree in school counseling and certification from ages 0-21, she branched into the role of counselor for students from Pre-K through high school.
Earning her doctorate in education advanced her career further in post-secondary education as a university professor.
The journey as a mom, wife, and educator led to the development and growth of CuteThingsToDraw.com!
